Diameter 14.2mm copper earthing rod      

Copper earthing rod offers installers the most economical method of achieving a low earth resistance. Earth rod has a high tensile strength, low carbon steel core. 99.9% pure copper is applied electrolytically and forms a metallurgical bond between the steel core and the copper. This combination makes the rod ideal for deep driving whilst also provides lasting resistance to corrosion. The threads are formed by a cold rolling process which ensures strength and maintains the molecularly bonded copper covering along the full length of the threads. Cold-rolled threads are stronger than cut-threads. The standard copper thickness is 0.254mm. Greater copper thicknesses are also available. Product Technical Specification

1:Thickness of the copper layer is more than 0.254mm(all can be done to your demand)

2:The core steel rod shall have a tensile strength of not less than 580Nm/mm2.

3:The steel core is low carbon steel, and the carbon content is about 0.15%.

4:The purity of the copper using as cladding shall be 99.9% pure copper.

5:The Ground Rod will be capable of being through 90 at a maximum radius if 100mm with no copper fracture and with no ill effect on the bond between the steel and the copper cladding.

6:Good in anti-corrosion that usage-life is more than 50 years or more, constant low resistance and good plasticity which had the characteristics of copper as well as steel.
